    Located deep in the mountains of Central China, Fairywoods Resort and Theme Park sits within a steep-sided valley with lakes and waterfalls, providing a four-season resort experience for the growing Chinese middle class.

  • Westlake Village City Hall

    Westlake Village's Civic Center provides a physical symbol for the city's cultural activities. Outdoor spaces have been arranged and designed with seating, special plantings and sculptures to create public gathering areas free from automotive intrusion. Sycamore trees frame the Civic Plaza, where a central water feature provides sound and animation.

  • Hoag Memorial Hospital

    R/Hdo has completed over 16 projects on the Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian campus over the last 10 years. The first project began with a “rehab garden,” overlooking lower Newport bay. More recent projects include a Conference Center, a Lower Campus parking garage and additional projects designed to visually link the Upper and Lower campuses.

    As the largest skatepark in California, Etnies is a landmark in the City of Lake Forest and a major attraction for city youth. This skatepark features a seamless interface between the core skateable area and surrounding areas, used for skater viewing and staging of special events.

  • Rosemead High School

    Located within the City of El Monte, Rosemead High School is home to 1,900 students. From 2005 through 2012, Rabben/Herman design office worked on four projects, focused upon a common theme of improving the campus environment.

  • Bowers Museum of Cultural Art

    R/Hdo worked with Robert Coffee Architects to complete the design of the Dorothy and Donald Kennedy Wing of the Bowers Museum of Cultural Art in Santa Ana, California. The expansion provided significant new exhibition space to the existing facility and streamlined visitor access to the facility.

  • 4S Ranch Town Center

    Rabben/Herman design office recently completed the 4S Ranch Town Center in North San Diego County, featuring fountains that identify pedestrian gathering areas and buffer traffic noise, and tree planting that both reinforces circulation patterns and provides parking-lot shade.
