The curriculum at ISLC is intended to prepare global citizens and is a unique magnate school in the LAUSD system. The International  Studies Learning Center’s diverse staff and dedicated parents support this fundamental belief and the teachers from different parts of the world provide world language skills (French, Spanish, Japanese, and Mandarin) and cultural appreciation. The landscape design used plantings from each of the countries to further connect the school to its student body and families. The design created distinct zones for large and small group activities and resulted in one of the prettiest school campuses in the IUSD system.
